The Galtee Gallery is a few kilometers outside Kilbeheny, nestled in the Galtee mountains. Deirdre Dunne's oil paintings and prints are on display here. Deirdre's paintings vary from landscapes of the local area to portraits of animals and people.
Throughout these experiences she has been continuously sketching and painting images from each of the countries she has passed through, including her native Ireland. With each continent she encounters, her work changes to portray the wildlife, the people, their land and their cultures, creating a kaleidoscope of images spanning the world over. Her subject matter varies from everyday kitchen scenes to camels in the Gobi desert.
