The Greenway

Witness the glorious views from the Greenway, a 46km off-road cycling and walking trail along an old railway line between Waterford City and Dungarvan. Stop off in Kilmacthomas and recharge with a coffee and a bite to eat in Coach House Coffee.

The Copper Coast

Take advantage of the beautiful beaches nearby. Stroll hand-in-hand on the sandy walkways of Bunmahon Beach and Clonea Strand. Uncover the fascinating geology and archaeology of the Copper Coast UNESCO Geopark in Bunmahon. Follow the self-guided trail with walking cards available from the centre.

Boat rides on the River Blackwater

Suir Blueway

Follow the Comeragh Mountains and the River Suir across the breath-taking Blueway from Cahir to Carrick-on-Suir, offering walks, cycling paths and a kayak route. Along the Blueway you pass through Clonmel, a prominent town in South Tipperary dotted with darling cafés and restaurants and welcoming people before making your way to the charming village of Kilshelan and finishing up in Carrick on Suir where cafes, restaurants and a hotel await you after your scenic trip along the Blueway.
